Progress for Africa Foundation
Progress for Africa is a non profit volunteer organization based in Arusha since 2014 through which we intend to contribute to the wellbeing of the neighbors of our community.
Our current project is called Chagua Maisha, which means "choose life" and its main purpose is to enable a space in the neighborhood of Born City to provide quality education to boys and girls. For that purpose we have built a school, a public space for meetings, talks and different activities and a "Duka" for selling goods of difficult access to the neighbors so that the project can become self-sustainable.
Winners of the ETSAM Emprende contest
While working on the project of Chagua Maisha, a group of architects from the ETSAM (Superior Technical School of Architecture of Madrid) got the idea of the Blenderbike.
We also cooperate with the following organizations:
Good Hope Orphanage;
Upendo Nursery School and Day Care;
St. Elizabeth Hospital;
Mountain Mery Hospital; and
Queen Nursery School.
